Yoga for you
Co-create a movement practice with me that honors your unique body and preferences
About me
I have explored movement throughout my whole life. After dedicating years to ballet, it started feeling rigid and aesthetic-driven, stripping away the curiosity I craved. What I truly needed was movement that centered on play and healing, rather than performance. After several dance injuries, I discovered somatic practices, including yoga, and finally felt empowered by my own movement.
As someone with scoliosis, generalized practices have never quite worked for me, so I have personally needed to seek out and weave together different practices to create a balanced movement toolkit. When we follow our intuition, we can build a sustainable movement practice, one that can adapt daily, whether we need strength and energy or something more restorative.
During our sessions, I will explore anatomical cues, focus on embodiment, and discover how your yoga practice can translate directly into your regular life. Whether you want to feel better sitting at work, playing a sport, or training at the gym, yoga provides an opportunity to check inward, learning how your body typically moves in space to be more aware on and off the mat.
My passion for teaching is rooted in my time as an elementary Montessori Guide and classroom teacher. I love working with children and learned firsthand how crucial the relational element is for growth. This foundational belief that connection is at the heart of all teaching informs every session. I am happy to work one-on-one with adults, adults and their children, or just children, to build a practice that suits you.

Yoga privates
By working one-on-one or in a small group, we can build a practice that is truly responsive to your body, your life's changes, and exactly what you need on that specific day.
Private yoga offers a practice that is designed specifically for your goals, allowing you to move at your own pace, get personalized feedback, and delve deeper into specific poses in a way that is not possible in a general class setting.
*Unfortunately, I am extremely allergic to cats, so I am not able to work in homes that have cats.
